Project Overview
The goal of this project was to create a one-minute animated infographic that breaks down the complex impact of global warming on penguins. The infographic aimed to simplify data, engage viewers, and present the information in a mobile-friendly format.
It needed to succeeded in presenting information in an engaging, visually appealing, and mobile-friendly format. By combining design and storytelling, the project needed to effectively highlight the challenges faced by penguins due to global warming and inspired viewers to take action.

The script focused on delivering key information concisely while maintaining an emotional connection with the audience. It opened with a striking statement to capture attention, moved through factual details supported by data, and ended with a hopeful call to action.
Key talking points included:
- Rapid warming and its impact on penguin habitats.
- Declining krill populations.
- A call to action telling people to donate.
Mood Board & Visual Assets:
The aesthetic choices were guided by the need for an eye-catching yet relevant design:
- Color Palette: Cool blues and whites symbolized icy habitats, with pops of orange and yellow inspired by penguins.
- Typography: A modern, sans-serif font was used for readability, with bold text to highlight critical facts.
- Visuals: Minimalistic illustrations of penguins, icebergs, krill, and storm clouds were used for clarity and ease of animation. Gradients and smooth transitions helped convey changes in climate and environment.
- This video is designed to grab the attention of young adults, ages 18-34, who live on the rush of extreme sports. Whether they’re tearing it up in motocross, shredding on a skateboard, or pushing your limits in any high-adrenaline activity, we’ve got you covered.
