Summer Pops

Project Objective
This annual concert, held in Wilcox Park, Downtown Westerly, Rhode Island, brings together local talent and professional musicians for a night of music. The poster needed to be vibrant and fun, capturing the event’s spirit and including all essential information, from event details to sponsor logos. To create a poster that truly represents the Summer Pops event, I started by researching The Chorus of Westerly and the concert itself. This event is a community favorite, known for its mix of music and firework display. Understanding the event’s significance and the audience it attracts helped me shape the design direction.

- Headline: Used a bold, eye-catching font.
- Event Details: Chose complementary fonts for the event details.
- Sponsor Logos: Positioned the sponsor logos at the bottom, making sure they were visible but not distracting.
